We don't do yards. We build rooms that grow.

Tectum LLC was founded in 2018 in Austin, Texas.

We are an outdoor living studio. We design and build complete Green  Rooms — private outdoor sanctuaries grown entirely with native and  adapted Texas plants.

Each room is more than plants. We create the full living space around it:

Green Rooms — living meditation rooms, outdoor showers, and garden enclosures that give you real privacy that grows.

Fire Pits — sunken lounges and gathering circles built into your green walls for year-round use.

Fountains — custom stone water features that cool the space and create natural sound privacy.

Outdoor Furniture — wood, stone, concrete and grass pieces designed to live inside your green room, not next to it.

Outdoor Art — sculptural elements and stone work that turn a planted space into a place with identity.

Most backyards in the Hill Country have the same problem: harsh sun,  zero privacy, and a collection of disconnected pieces that never feel  like a room.

We solve it with architecture that grows.

Our process:

Design —  We study your lot, sun, wind and microclimate. Every plant and material  is selected to survive an Austin August and resist deer.

Installation — Living walls, irrigation, limestone, water, fire, and furniture. One team, one vision.

Growth — We don't leave after planting. We manage the first 12 months until your room is fully private and thriving.

We build with Texas natives because they belong here. They need less water, live longer, and get more beautiful every season.

This is not landscaping. It's an extra room for your home, without pouring concrete.
